What are Hugo Kamishi Titanium Heaters?

Hugo Kamishi Titanium Heaters are a safe alternative to glass heaters in both freshwater and saltwater aquariums. Their heating elements are made of the highest quality titanium and are, as a result, virtually indestructible. This unbreakable titanium housing is also saltwater resistant.

As well as being incredibly durable, titanium is also one of the best heat conductors and transfers heat to your aquarium more efficiently than standard glass heating elements. These heaters cover a temperature control range of 0-40C with a +/- 1C accuracy.

This range includes a 100W, 200W, 300W, 500W, and 1000W model. As is the case with all titanium rod heaters, a temperature controller must be used in conjunction with these heaters. Hugo Kamishi makes a dedicated temperature controller that you can purchase here.

How do I install a Hugo Kamishi Titanium Heater?

These titanium heaters are really easy to install, simply place the heater in your aquarium or sump (horizontally or vertically) using the suction cups provided. Then, use the Hugo Kamishi Temperature Controller to select the desired temperature for your aquarium. Be sure to consult the controllers detailed instructions for further information on this process.
