This quartz-based terracotta-like sand features a rounded particle shape and doesn’t affect water quality thanks to its inert nature. It makes an ideal substrate for all aquariums, and in particular suits itself for Amazonian biotopes or other riverbed like systems. The colour of this sand provides a striking contrast in planted setups.

The grading of our Marsh Brown Sand ensures that there are no harsh “gritty bits” making the sand kind for all catfish and other bottom dwelling life.
