Crinum Calamistratum is a bulbous aquatic plant with thin, curly rich green foliage. Its unique leaves add beautiful motion to planted tanks and can grow extremely long when provided with the right conditions. Calamistratum is considered a hardier Crinum species and requires less light than others, making it well-suited for planted aquariums with low to moderate lighting.
Although it grows slowly, it will eventually produce small bulbs that can be separated and replanted for propagation. Crinum calamistratum is also unique in that it can thrive in brackish aquariums with low salt concentrations. Its not particularly tasty to herbivorous fish and is typically safe from plant munchers!
