ChemiZee is a highly porous zeolite pellet that allows water to pass through, where a chemical exchange takes place, and harmful ammonia is removed from the water and stored within the zeolite itself instead. This should be replaced regularly to ensure the ammonia doesn’t leach back out, we recommend every 6 – 8 weeks depending on your aquarium size and stocking levels.

The loose tub means that you can use as much or as little as you need, and it can be used with all types of filters, of any brand, as you just fill a media bag to suit the shape and size of the filter chamber you have. We would recommend using a good quality filtration net bag for this product. This means you can just take out and fill the bag, close it up, and install it in your filter, and replace as needed.
