IMPORTANT: Our aquarium plants may vary in growth forms. Because of this, please understand how to properly transition and acclimate plant(s) into desired form(s). We do our best to thoroughly clean and inspect all plants prior to shipment but cannot guarantee lead bunch or potted plants to be free from snails and/or algae. Not your thing? Please consider purchasing tissue culture aquarium plants!

Tissue culture plants are cultivated in sterile lab settings ensuring your plant is free from pests, snails and algae! These are young specimen that are grown in emersed forms. Gel should always be removed prior to planting.

LIVE PLANTS ARE SUSCEPTIBLE TO STRESS AND DAMAGE FROM TRANSIT – This may appear in the form of minimal melt, leaf loss, cosmetic damage, etc. Refunds or replacements will not be issued for plants with viable root systems or that die out of our care.

Bacopa Lanigera, commonly known as Hairy Bacopa, is a larger variation of Bacopa originating from Brazil. Appearance wise, Bacopa Lanigera is similar to Bacopa Caroliniana, but can be distinguished byslightly rounder leaves along with small white hair-like fibers covering the stem. This aquarium plant also has noticeable venation that is typically lighter than its leaves producing natural contrast. Due to its larger size, this aquatic plant is more suitable for larger sized aquariums, but may work in smaller tanks as long as it is pruned accordingly.

When possible, we always recommend providing aquarium plants with CO2 injection to improvehealth, boost growth rates and increase color vibrancy. Bacopa Lanigeraprovides unique texture and frequent trimming will allow the plant to branch off, creating denser plant groups. At a minimum, we recommend using a nutrient-dense aquarium soil to help the plant establish a strong root system. Bacopa Lanigera is versatile and can be grown interrariums, vivariums and paludarium setups as long as proper care is provided. When care is optimal, Bacopa Lanigera blooms blue-violet flowers above the surface. To propagate, cut along the stem and replant into the substrate.
