Bacopa Salzmannii ‘Purple’ var SG, also known as Bacopa sp. Araguaia, is a rare purplestem plant which belongs to the advanced category due to its requirement of CO2 and medium-high lighting to develop its attractive color which ranges between violet and pink. The plant arrives greenin a sterilized tissue culture cup, not recommended for beginners.

Bunches are groups of young plants or stems brought together. They have a few or no roots. Roots are formed very soon after planting. Most are supplied in emersed form, old leaves may melt as new underwater growth appears.

Note: Bunches or bundled plants are not produced at Tropica’s nursery. They are not guaranteed to be free from pesticides and thus we recommend not to put them directly in tanks with sensitive shrimps or delicate fish. For precaution, keep bundled plants in tanks where water is changed twice a week for 2 weeks before keeping them with sensitive animals.
