How do I use Dennerle Black Scapers Soil?

Dennerle Black Scapers Soil is an active substrate that works best when added to new planted aquariums. It can be used as a base layer underneath a capping layer of sand/gravel, or as a standalone layer. If you choose to use it as a standalone layer, wet it slightly before you add your aquatic plants. This will increase the stickiness of the soil and make it easier to plant your aquatic plants.
